Okay, okay—I had to say it. But in all seriousness, we don’t support Olight or any other off-brand weapon lights because, like certain firearms, they don’t meet our level of quality.
An enclosed lithium-ion battery in a high-drain device isn’t exactly a recipe for long-term reliability. TLDR: They get hot—fast. And when internal batteries rupture and explode (which has happened), it’s not just a minor inconvenience.
Have you ever seen a Li-Ion battery explode? It’s violent. Now, imagine that happening right next to a loaded magazine. Yeah… you can see where this is going.
